Cohesion is us - What citizens think about Cohesion? The example of Cyprus

How do citizens perceive the impact of the Cohesion Policy on their everyday lives? What can we do to involve them further in the implementation and in designing the future of the Policy? 

The event will highlight the example of Cyprus, a small island country on the periphery of the EU, and showcase how the Cohesion Policy can support remote areas, increase social cohesion and support European integration. We will use the results of the project "Cohesion is us" and a public opinion poll that is currently being conducted in Cyprus to discuss how citizens feel about Cohesion and how they can be more involved in the design and implementation of the policy with an eye to the discussions for the proposals for the post-2027 Cohesion Policy.
